BARANOF ISLAND COHO TRIP

Taking out boat in Wrangell for paint


6 days later with new paint.  The boat "Carol W" was built in 1939 in Astoria, OR


Back in water in Wrangell harbor.  Young eagle sitting on pole


First trip out to Kendrick Bay on Prince of Whales Is.  About half mile off shore saw eagle floating on log.


Good weather


Pulling into anchorage.  In the bunk around 10 and up at 3:30


Capt. Tom hauling in a 32 pounder.  We had over 20 for the 4 days.  Beautiful King salmon. 


Spend most of the day back in the "cockpit" running the lines up and down.  Lots of Halibut, Lingcod, Snapper come up on the lower hooks as well as salmon.  Smaller ones are released
